Closed Beta Update: Now on Mac, and What Comes Next
Oct 29, 2026·2 min read

The Closed Beta is live, free, and open to everyone who registers. Thank you to everyone who has already logged in, explored Armia and sent feedback. Here's where we are and where we're headed.
Building the foundation
Right now our focus is on the things you don't always see but always feel: infrastructure, client stability and performance, the new interface, backups and security. A remaster only works if the ground under it is solid, so we're getting this right first.
You'll already notice some of it in-game:
- Big performance gains across the client.
- New graphics quality levels, from Low to Ultra, with real cast shadows.
- Brightness and camera distance settings.
- The new interface is now the default. Prefer the classic look? Switch to "Alternative" in the settings.
Now on Mac
Supreme Destiny now has a native macOS app for Apple Silicon and Intel. It opens in its own window, supports fullscreen and updates itself.
Download: supremedestiny.net/download (v0.1.0, about 7.5 MB). The install guide is on the same page.
On first launch, macOS will ask you to approve the app once: System Settings › Privacy & Security › "Open Anyway". This step is temporary. The app will be signed soon.
Windows players: nothing changes. The launcher keeps your game up to date automatically.
Browser version: in testing
Yes, we have a browser version. It's in internal testing and isn't available yet. We'll open it when it meets our standard, not before. The Mac app already gives you the same experience: the same modern client and the new interface, with the WYD Mobile-inspired HUD, the bottom skill bar, top shortcuts and the redesigned windows.
Mobile (Android and iOS) is also coming. More on that later.
What's next
Once the foundation is where we want it, we move in-game: EXP rates, class balance, drops and the economy. These are the decisions veterans care about most, so we'll share them and listen before anything is final.
Play, break things and tell us how it runs, especially on Mac.
